The “ Settings ” button is in the upper-right corner of the “ Content Browser ” “Content Browser”. Click it to configure the current Content Browser instance, including:

View type: tiles, lists, or columns.

Search filters.

Content to include or exclude.

Search options.
View Type #
These settings control how assets appear in the Asset View. Choose a view type:
Tiles #
The Tiles view displays assets in a grid, as illustrated:

List #
The List view displays thumbnails with asset names and file types, as illustrated:
Columns #
The Columns view displays asset properties in a spreadsheet-like layout, as illustrated:
Displayed details depend on asset type. Blueprints show type and parent class, while Static Meshes show vertex and triangle counts.
For each column, you can:

Right-click its name to sort assets by its values in ascending or descending order.

Hover over its name, click the vertical-ellipsis menu, and choose Hide Column .

Restore hidden columns from Settings by selecting Toggle Columns and enabling the columns you want to see.
Export all asset details as a .csvfile. From Settings , select Export to CSV . This option appears only when the Asset View uses Columns.
Lock #
The Lock Content Browser option is a toggle. When enabled, this Content Browser instance ignores Find in Content Browser requests.
View #
Use View settings to control what appears in the Content Browser and how filtering behaves.

Disable Show Empty Folders to show only folders containing at least one asset. |
| Show Empty Folders | Disable this to hide empty folders. |
| Show Favorites | Adds a new Favorites category at the top of Sources. It appears after at least one folder or asset is added to Favorites.
To add a folder or asset, right-click it and choose “Add to Favorites ” from the context menu. |
| Filter Recursively | Controls whether Asset View filters apply recursively. |
| Show All Folder | Toggles the Allfolder in the Sources hierarchy. Disabling it moves the hierarchy up one level. |
| Organize Folders | Automatically organize folders in the Content Browser's Asset View. |
| Path View Filters | Controls settings affecting the Path View in the Content Browser, useful for large projects with content from several sources. |
| Show Sources Panel | Shows or hides the Sources panel. |
Content #
These options control whether particular asset types appear in the Asset View.

| Show Engine Content | When enabled, displays the Engine Contentfolder in Sources, containing stock Unreal Engine assets with various functions. |
| Show Plugin Content | Displays plugin-specific content in the Content Browser. |

Thumbnails #
Use Thumbnail options to control how thumbnails are generated and displayed.

| Thumbnail Edit Mode | When enabled, adjust 3D asset thumbnails by left-clicking and dragging within them. Click Done Editing to save. Click Undo in the thumbnail's upper-right corner to undo changes.

Content Browser Editor Preferences #
Configure additional Content Browser settings in “ Editor Preferences ” (menu: Edit > Editor Preferences , then select “ Content Browser ” ).
